Grace In Small Things, Day 1

(Read about this concept.)

Being grateful for things every day reminds us that life is wonderful, to appreciate it and everything in it–you, your friends, family, nature, etc.–and thereby be more content, no matter what your situation in life may be.

I mean, unless you’re a raped refugee in Congo or a prisoner being tortured in a dungeon under an authoritarian regime (in which case you wouldn’t be reading this), you’re probably an extremely fortunate person. You have internet access, you can read, and so on–which is lots more than can be said for most people in the world.

So, here I go:

1. Playing with Naomi:

2. That Naomi is finally gaining weight and is feeling better.
3. The love my boyfriend and I share for each other.
4. That I can afford to try out being a full time freelancer.
5. My health.
